Are my notes stored locally or in the cloud?

By default, all your 3AM Notes are stored locally on your device to ensure maximum privacy. With 3AM Notes Pro, you can enable encrypted backups that sync across your devices.

How does Journal Lock work?

Journal Lock uses your device's built-in biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN) to secure your journal. Once enabled, the app will require authentication whenever it's brought to the foreground.

Can I export my data?

Yes, you can export your data at any time from the Settings menu. You can generate a full database backup or export individual notes as Markdown files or PDFs.

What is included in 3AM Notes Pro?

3AM Notes Pro unlocks premium features like unlimited entries, encrypted backups, advanced stats, custom themes, custom fonts, aesthetic card templates, and more.

I switched phones, how do I restore my notes?

If you enabled backups in Settings, you can restore your data by importing your .zip backup file from iCloud Drive or Google Drive on your new device.
